The moment I looked into his eyes, I knew I was in trouble.
The second I heard his name, I knew I should stay away.
Our fathers were mortal enemies—Chicago crime bosses from rival families.
But that didn’t stop Leo Conti from pursuing me.
Being together was dangerous, reckless, and totally hot.
He wanted me. I wanted him.
Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

REVIEW

When you feeling and heart goes against the odds of “the street code”. Daphne and Leo were playing a deadly hand but who cared. They wanted each other in a way that was beyond what or who their father was and did. Although, Daphne tried to fight it Leo said that was a NO GO.

It was sexy how the man chased and even put himself at risk for love and his forever. Surviving two gun draws and many threats, standing tall and not flitching. Pure swoon worthy.

Thanks Chelle for writing another hit. This is a must read and brings a new meaning to family, sacrifice, and choice.
