The value in which Farrah put on herself after the failed marriage was inspiring. As a plus size single mother of three myself I gathered strength from the character. Gage had his work cut out for him but Farrah encouraged his growth and short comings. They just worked for me and Levi and Andrew added fun and truths to how kids really feel when we think they are not paying attention.
I am happy I read this book because it was needed for my psych.
